Lord, you are my Shepherd
I shall not be in need,
You are my Guide and my Comforter
The Protector over me and my seed.
You’ve guided me into paths of righteousness
In times when I’ve wanted to go astray,
When I’ve wandered in the opposite direction
Your rod and staff steered me in the right way.
You draw me to the still waters,
It is there where my soul is restored,
Bringing me to green pastures of rest
Where in me your word and wisdom is poured.
In the presence of my enemies
You prepare a table before me,
As goodness and mercy follows
I have been set free.
