There have been so many times in life
I have been faced with challenges of many kind,
But through your word you gave me power
Keys to the kingdom of heaven to loose and to bind.
God you have always shown me your faithfulness
Your hand has provided for me year after year,
In spite of the storms of darkness that blow
With you as my light - whom shall I fear?
We sometimes encounter a bend in the road
It blocks our vision of what lies ahead,
But even in the dark it's during those times
We speak the word and rely on what you've said.
Teach me thy way as I seek your face
Hear my cry and have mercy on me,
Direct and lead me in a plain path
Lord as I daily put my trust in thee.
