John 4:14

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

As we come to the well to draw, we come with an anticipation of drawing living water, the word of God which gives us the breath of life, directions in our walk with him, reproof and deliverance. The bible states in John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

As we come to draw during this season, let us draw from the well of “FAITH” in which God reminds us that:

 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17)

 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: (Matthew 7:7)

 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (I John 1:9)

We must believe by faith that when we do what God requires of us as believers that he will bless us according to what he has promised. We can do nothing without him however we must remind ourselves daily -I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). Believing is not seeing, but trusting God for that in which we don’t see. We have to take God at his word.  He is an unchanging God and has a history of doing just what he says.

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6 that we are to trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Many times throughout our day we try to carry out our daily tasks in the way in which we think things should be done as oppose to what God’s agenda is for that particular day.  Allow God to be your ‘daily planner’.  We should be mindful that God knows the beginning from the end and that it is His will that we prosper and that we allow him to bring us to that expected end in every situation of our lives.  For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)  We must have the faith to trust him.

As you draw daily “FROM THE WELL”, the word of God, allow God to take control of your life in order that by FAITH we may reap the harvest that is destined in this season of our walk in Him.

Galatians 6:9 -- And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
